Give yourselves some credit. obviously post play is a glaring issue but Arkansas is a good team and well coached group.

The fact that Arkansas had the chance to win it on the road despite being out rebounded 53-24 says enough.

You're right. It's good, but not great. We don't have a chance at winning the national championship, and maybe not a SEC championship, but there may be no better team without a frontcourt. They've accomplished miracles, considering that.

I've been saying for weeks, and I've even had some LSU fans disagree with me, that LSU would get things going sooner or later. Obviously I wish it had been later and against someone else!

Both teams have some flaws but I think both teams also have the ability to reach the NCAA tourney if they keep playing well. I don't see either team making a deep run in the tournament unless they get ridiculously hot but neither team was expected to be a national title contender this year.

For Arkansas its a painful loss, a close loss always is, but considering that post season polls had us finishing at the bottom of the SEC I'll take where we are at right now.

It’s not that painful IMO. It’s a league road loss. We have a great coach and a team that won’t quit. I’m not discouraged at all.
