I doubt Anderson gets another season so it doesn't matter.

We should never hire a coach and not pay him top 25 money.

Of course I'm happy when there's something to be happy about. Does my absence of posts after a win mean I wasn't happy? Seriously? That's a fricking embarassing correlation to be making. I don't even get home until 9 or 10pm during the week (your time). So I don't get to watch a lot of games. But when I am watching, I see the same stupid defense.
My complaints about MA's philosophy haven't changed since he was hired. His defensive strategy continuously leaves the opposing teams with wide open shots. Instead of throwing out these ad hominem attacks that don't actually prove anything, how about prove that my point is false. Show me how the defensive framework that MA chooses to employ is really, truly the path to long-term success. Show me how college players are WAY better at pull-up 25 footers than they are at catch-and-shoot jumpers or wide open layups.
And if you CONCEDE it's NOT a falsehood, then lets have the discussion we should be having. Why are we paying a coach this much money to make boneheaded decisions?
Oh yea, he mad.

Dustin Thomas is complete trash. He should be playing at Henderson State or something

At least we have gotten a few good looks this half. Of course, we've thrown up some junk, too.

They're like the 6th best team in the Big 12 too, lol.

No need to blame the referee's. They are calling the game the way the NCAA has mandated. No hand checking, if an offensive player is anywhere near the rim and a defensive player as much as gets near him its a foul. CMA should have learned this by now and adapted his style.
College basketball has been basterdized by the rules committee to make it nothing more than an NBA Development League.
ETA - this wasn't directed at you Reagan...just replied to the last post in the thread.
Let the players who want to go pro go. Bring back defense and strategy with players and coaches that just aren't biding their time.

They won't be the 6th best in the Big 12 for long with Underwood. That dude can coach. Anderson...not so much.

Yea, and our players avoid hand checks like they're touching hot iron. Seems to be a problem...

No worries. This game blows.

Think Hoiberg would pull a Petrino? Ditch the Bulls in March, turn Arkansas back into a national contender, and somehow end up back at Iowa State in 4-5 years?

And dude realized his defensive philosophy wasn't working, halfway through the season, so he made a change? Say whattttttttt?

As far as ditching the bulls they're a mess right now so who knows what will happen with that. I've liked him since we played Iowa State in this same "challenge" two years ago. Lol, I don't think you can really compare Hoiberg and Petrino.
It doesn't matter who the coach is next year as long as they can keep the class and coach basketball.
