I thougt Franchione would have done better there. He had Reggie McNeil when he got there and McNeil seemed to be very talented. Don't know what happened..
What happened? Franchione = FRAUD
We (Bama) tried to tell them (Aggies).

This must be some of that new math I keep hearing about. Tannehill drops a sure TD. That was 7 points. Your QB drops the ball for a pick 6. But remind me now, did'nt we have a fumble somewhere in there on a punt that was deep in our territory?
Do we get credit for a 14 point swing for that play?
2 Plays before Franklin ran it back 85 yards, so it could be a 14 point swing.

Easy for you to say, because there is no one on your team anyone would really miss.

A&M needs to hire coach Stallings to come in there and straighten that place out for a few years and then hand it over to someone younger.
Stallings would strike the fear of God in those young kids and they would immediately respect him.

Late 60's. I think he is living in Parish Texas. He is a great guy and a great coach. He may be just what they need right now.

I just got back to Fayetteville.
MAN, what a stadium. I remembered to pack my digital camera, and even remembered to charge the battery. Then I managed to leave at the W in Dallas. That's what happens when you start drinking at noon.
The stadium is amazing. Tailgating set up was ok. Parking was easy, and surprisingly close. We paid 40 bucks for it so it should have been good.
Where to begin....
Jerryworld is just incredible. There are restrictions on where you can go with your ticket. I was in club seating, 3rd level, but managed to hike all the way around the stadium. I had to change levels several times and it was a labrynth, especially since I was hammered before kickoff.
The entire level we were on was carpeted, big windows, tons of tvs in the lounge areas, both showing the game and others around the country. Full bars, set up like you are at a hotel or something. PLENTY of concessions, although pretty high prices. $10 for a rum and coke, $20 for a double. $9.50 for nachos. seating areas, bar tops in our hall for eating and watching game. Oddly, just heading to concessions COMPLETELY shut you off from actual crowd noise. It was odd. All we could hear over the speaker was the drab, unremarkable voice of the announcer, telling us matter of factly what we had just seen on the screens lining the wall.
EVERY seat is a padded, cushioned chairback, with a cup holder on the back of the seat in front of you. Its like being in a suite, all the way around the stadium.
The end zone party decks are great. Mainly just big open areas, open to the field, and with views of the video boards mounted to the sides of the GIGANTOTRON. One end has a giant fountain and trucks and cars stacked up to the ceiling as advertisements. Ford Tough.
The screen is just to big to imagine. It feels surreal looking at it and looking down at the field. We sat right about the 50 yd line on the third level, and instead of looking across the stadium at other people, you see the screen. Its an odd sensation.
Aggies are Aggies, just like I remembered them to be. They were deafeningly loud, and the entire 1st qtr was just like a rock concert loud.
Something kind of odd about the stadium, though. It kind of makes you feel a little overwhelmed and a little removed from the game. I just had a kind of surreal feeling about it, almost like we were in some kind of weird spaceship. And I also felt like we were a long way from the field, compared to the more vertical nature of Razorback Stadium. Add to that that you can completely, instantly forget that you are in a stadium when you head for concessions, and its just weird.
Never waited in line for anything. Plenty of bathrooms and plenty of concessions. The way they have it all broken up into levels and different concourses makes it feel small when you are out in the lobby areas.
Traffic sucked. Dallas was fun. This is definitely a great thing for Arkansas fans. It felt like a big bowl game atmosphere. If you're a hog fan, you gotta go.
