My point wasn't that we are going to win the National Title, please don't get that idea, but our defense is getting better every week, and I just meant people feeling down after our anemic offensive play in that UF game, and then we played solid the rest of the season.
Our defense is getting better each week, but our offense has to step up and improve. We were number 10 after the UF loss that year too. Just some interesting things is all i am saying, especially with the back and forth game with Bama being very similar.

Exactly. I wondered why he was saying it would be a touchback when it never went out of the endzone. Called a TD anyway though. Correct call no matter what.

Quick rule question. If a player fumbles into the end zone and then recovers it, is it a touchdown or is the ball spotted where the fumble occurred?

not that it matters but that was definitely a fumble before the line. no idea what they were looking at on the review.

I thought it was incomplete. You have to make 87 "football moves" while maintaining possession or it's incomplete. He was only at 79 from my count.

Bama defeated Ark 35-7 or something like that, even if Florida somehow pulls out a victory, Bama should be number one, if the win tonight.
