As stated previously most kids are gone for the summer. Tallahassee during the summer = ghost town. Most of the residents of tallahassee work for the government in some form and there's not a huge pro FSU population.
There's fricking nothing around tallahassee and the nearest city with a large FSU fanbase is jacksonville which is two hours away. Give it up.
eta: most of the FSU kids there have A) go to class (which is every day since its summer) or B) have a job
Then the NCAA should have granted the Super to the team with a far superior facility and 12k fans, right?

As for the early start excuse, the Fri nite game last wkend had gaps of empty seats as well. If your fans won't support the team during the post season because no students, then don't bid on a regional/super regional.
