I said last season that he was the best raw pitcher we had on the roster. Just had to get consistent. Glad he seems to have put it together. His stuff is big league.

One thing I notice when we're the away teams a lot of times is how little effort opposing venues put into the fan experience compared to Baum. I think many programs we play that don't have the most rabid fanbases would be larger with a couple of simple tweaks to the gameday experience.

If Goodheart continues to warm up and Martin/Fletcher return to form, I think we'll be in contention for the conference title this year. Our schedule is more favorable than last year in that regard.
As far as postseason, we're built perfectly for tournament success. A ton of arms that can produce a lot of velocity. If these freshmen continue to develop at the rate they are, I think we're just as dangerous as last year.
