Not according to what I've read.Auburn is being investigated for serious issues...the allegation of an Auburn coach having a guidance counselor change a players grades is very serious. Not to mention that this guidance counselor drove said recrit to a visit at Auburn and is a huge Auburn fan. It's not like posters here are making up the stories about Auburn being investigated...did you not read any of the 50 articles that have came out about it this week?
Also when coaches get taken off the road as Trooper and Luper havs that means that something serious is going on.

SMU, OU, and Miami from the 80s say hello That's rich, coming from an Aggie. If anybody has cheated more than Auburn in their history, its A&M.
In the 1980s A&M would have had to cheat to keep with Oklahoma, Texas, SMU etc etc and it was more than just giving away new cars, it was prostitutes, homes, you name it.
Back to 2012, it is my opinion that AU & Clemson have both been dirty and never has so little been done by so many, as both schools never reach the potential of their recruiting classes. Karma. As long as AU lets the wealthy ranchers, growers and bankers run the athletic dept behind the scenes, it is going to be more of the same until they got whacked good. The NCAA has proven to be mild in meting out punishment though...schools rebound quickly from a one year bowl ban and few schollys lost. Use the tv ban though and schools would pay heed. Conferences stop the NCAA from tv bans though because of lost $$
It was no accident that SMU & UF were singled out in 1980s by the NCAA...you had fertile recruiting areas of Texas and Florida and the indictments were meant to end the open cheating. UF really had a lot of minor violations...one count by NCAA was giving a pack of chewing gum to a prospect by an asst coach if you can believe it...but its true. What UF did paled in comparison to what the SW conference was doing and even a lot of SEC teams.
We were given harsh punishment...no tv for two years, no bowl for two years and a lot of schollys taken away. This btw opened up recruiting for the girls school and made diddy Bowden a great coach....cause he got recruits UF normally would have.
SMU got punishment along the same line...but they didnt try to be repentive, they just cheated harder and got hammered with death penalty.

It's just a lazy cop-out used in an effort to diminish Auburn's accomplishments so you can ease the memory of the NC. It reeks of bitterness and is just kind of dumb IMO.

You seriously need a link that Auburn is being investigated for Jovon's grades being changed?Just google "Auburn NCAA investigation" about 30 articles written this week will come up.

Ahh so now you broaden that statement up a little bit. There you go.

I want a specific link that claims an Auburn coach had the counselor change them. It was in your post. Reading comprehension and all.

Please go find a dictionary and look up "anecdotal".
It could very well be that Auburn is violating some rules. I just never understood people talking with certainty one way or another. Until we do, I like to err on the side of the non-dramatic.

No, that's called old news and I don't need to Google anything for that.
We want to see the allegation where an Auburn coach made a counselor change Jovon's grade...LIKE YOU SAID.
Also, the third chick from the left in your sig is terrifying.

If the NCAA didn't think or know that an Auburn coach wasn't involved then Auburn would be being investigated for it...

False.
Jovon's recruitment would get investigated because of the grade change, but not necessarily an Auburn coach.
Grade Change Investigation =/= Auburn coach had something to do with it

lol the accused person took Jovon on a recruiting visit to Auburn and is an Auburn fan...
If the NCAA didn;t think Auburn was involved then there would be no reason to be investigating Auburn about it and no reason to interview all the kids that got recruited by Tropper and Luper, also would be no reason to take Tropper and Luper off the recruiting trail.
You guys are delusional if you think that the NCAA doesn't think or know that an Auburn coach was behind the grade changing.THAT'S ONE OF THE REASON 'S THAT THE NCAA IS INVESTIGATING AUBURN.
