Muschamp put gas in the boat so now cock lovers think he's going to win the natty. Makes sense.

To be serious though, I think he has the second best team in the East, second best program in the East. I expect Pruitt to fail. If Mullen doesn't bring a strong game immediately, Muschamp will not only distance himself from the rest of the East but he will start closing ground on UGA.

I just hope we get ahead early. If Carolina gets off to a fast start and their crowd gets juiced up it could turn into a long afternoon. Georgia has better talent overall but Columbia is a tough place to play for them, USC almost always gets up for that game.

No, actually I just selected it totally at random just to have one. I guess I got it from an old Ted Nugent song but there is no real significance attached to it.

He was right until he predicted the upset. However, if anybody can do it, SC and LSU can. Both should be great games. Doesn't bother us at all, I wouldn't think, but I'm sure the players are aware of it.

It's SC. The team practices in the SC heat. I think they're probably used to it come September.

I would think we will have more depth, though. I am betting that is what he means.

What kind of ID would be required for this to happen?

One of the good qualities as a coach that Muschamp has is that he really, really knows how to shorten a game and make it tighter than it should be.

Good point. We moved the ball at will because the muschamp d couldn’t hang, but I don’t remember having too many possession vs sc last year. With that said, Kirby also wanted to shorten the game and we drained clock all 4th q.

Man, I'm agreeing with DJ and TJ in the span of 24 hours. Some real dark arts going on here.

Beating a Muschamp team becomes easy if your offense clicks and you can put up points quickly. It's one of the reasons I didn't like him as a coach at Florida -- it works great to catch good teams off guard, but if the turnovers/bounces go the other way you're in deep shite.

2014 Missouri beat us 42 - 13 and had 119 total offensive yards.

That's not gonna happen. If they beat us, they'll have a very good season.

True enough, that'll be a very important game to see if Muschamp has truly matured and finally let the Offensive Coordinator do his job.
