And LSU has been a feeder for the Rebs lately. What’s that say about y’all?

You're a good man, It'll be cool to see a former Ole Miss standout play for a NC.

So many before him never got the chance to play for a NC or even an SEC title.

The dude quit on his team. Alabama people behind the scenes rallied all the troops to keep him...but he still cut and run. I hate free agency. Im glad Bama picked up some decent players in portal but id have much rather kept the ones Bama recruited from HS and got no transfers

Sure in a perfect world we all wish this transfer portal and NIL BS was gone. But I long ago gave up on any notion that these out of state 5 stars we were landing were coming here for the Alabama tradition, the university, or to represent the state. They came for Saban and the structure/system he ran. We got 17 years of that stability while all our rivals were rotating coaches and paying buyouts. If a player didn’t see Alabama as the right fit anymore after that ended, I was fine to give any potential disgruntled players a one time out so we could move on as well.

A player that commits to the same coach then bolts for a dollar more is a different story.
