The #6 pick in the 2011 NFL draft looks at your post and laughs...as do the following WRs worth a damn:

Chris Black - #2 WR (24/7) #6 (rivals)
Amari Cooper - #34 WR (24/7) #8 (rivals)
Marvin Shinn - #11 WR (24/7) #10 (rivals)
Bradley Sylve - #20 WR (24/7) #14 (rivals)

I know. They should have begged the media to put anyone else in that game so they would not have to face the mighty Tigah's again!

It blows my mind. These guys get to be scholarship players at major universities BECAUSE they have confidence. I am unsure what anyone would expect from these guys that is different.

They did NOT say "LSU sucks!". They said 'we want to play them again. We think we are better and can beat them'

wow....just, wow

Because he was wide arse open for an what might have been a touchdown. Hence the missed opportunity. Other than that, I thought the receivers for both teams were pretty nonexistent.

I think I may be in the beginning stages of a man-crush. New territory for me so forgive me if I don't know how to act.

I'm more worried about Kenny Bell. Dang that guy can just take over a game and impose his will.

In the game on November 5th the horrible Alabama receivers accounted for 98 yards receiving. The incredible LSU receivers accounted for 74 yards receiving. Neither team had a receiving TD.

At the end of the day, the guy is on the team and does play. Yet you are puzzled by him having an opinion and stating his opinion. Are you also puzzled by commentators and all CFB fans that also have opinions about missed opportunities? How much influence does the average internet CFB fan have in the outcome of a game?

No, because all that matters is what the Bama WR corp can do against LSU's defense and what the LSU WR corp can do against Bama's defense.

No one is debating which corp had more yards/TDs on the season. That is entirely irrelevent to the game on Jan 9th. The only thing that matters is how they perform against the opponent they'll be matched up against on that day - not how they did against North Texas or Western Kentucky.

I am not interested in anyone's "expense". I have no issue with his opinion...or yours.

I just do not share it.

Sort of off topic, but:

Has Bama recruited a WR taller than 6'3 since the 2008 recruiting class?

You know there aren't all that many good WR recruits each year that are taller than 6'3" right?

These WRs recruits were listed 6'3" or taller that signed with Bama since 2009 - Marvin Shinn, Michael Bowman, Kendall Kelly, Kevin Norwood. That is probably about as many as anybody. I don't think WRs are being developed as good at Alabama as most other position groups though. That is disappointing.

Hey...Tool...the post was in response to someone saying "any WR worth a damn would look at Bama's O and laugh". I was responding to a post about High School kids and how they would look at Bama.

Those cats aren't even in the same neighborhood of genetic freak stone hands Julio. He was drafted completely of his measurable and nothing of what he did at Bama. All four of those guys will be lukcy to make the 2nd day of the draft.
Emory Blake didn't play in three games had Clint Mosley and Barrett Trotter throwing to him and still had just two less TDs than all of Bama's WRs

How many less wins did they have than Bama's WRs?

Also nice work naming two cats that haven't scratched the depth chart past that garbage at WR you field
