The amount of tu homers pouring in to defend Arch’s is right on brand.

Do Texas fans actually WANT Arch to return next season?
If he was a true freshman thrown out there and taking his lumps...sure...but a guy 3 years into the program and the system performing like this? I don't think I'd be wanting him to return...I'd rather move on to the next 4-5 star prospect in line.

You said Texas lost to every ranked team they played (which was false btw). So now post season games don’t count? You never made that distinction
Typically when people talk about your season games, they are talking about your 12 game schedule. AKA we're mostly talking about your SEC schedule. Obviously you are going to play ranked teams in the playoffs.
Either way, you didn't accomplish shite in my opinion.
quote:
Alabama lost to Vanderbilt. Texas beat Vanderbilt in the same building
Alabama lost a trap game.

Ole Miss lost to Kentucky and Florida. Texas dominated those teams.
The transitive property is for stupid people.

Alabama lost a trap game.
The ‘ol true for thee but not for me strategy. Brilliant
quote:agreed, which is why it’s stupid to discount Texas winning more games than anybody else in the sec last year. Glad you finally agree with me!

They count for season rankings, they don't matter as much when you are talking about the power and strength of teams.
Lets say a team plays the top 10 teams in the country somehow. They lose all these games by 3 points or less. Are you going to try and pretend like that team is somehow the worst team in the country citing their 10 loss record? Or are you smart enough to apply context and understand they might be a top20 team strength wise?
Context matters.

You played the easiest schedule in the SEC.

You are arguing with the village idiot. Xwing/…/menu2 has a special connection with Manning. His alter before menu2 was “Archie”. He disappeared after they got beat by Georgia.

How many posters do you have on your wall? Or are you some local greasy car dealer that paid him for a commercial? Or.....arch? Is that you?

You didn't even win the SEC.

They count for season rankings, they don't matter as much when you are talking about the power and strength of teams.
Thanks again for agreeing with me!

You played the easiest schedule in the SEC.
How can Texas have the 9th hardest schedule in the country yet it’s the 16th in the league like you say?
Oh that’s right: you’re making it up because Texas’ success last year makes you insecure for some reason

Yes the pigmentation of skin was concerning for arch Manning HS competition

You played one team ranked at the end of last season during the regular season.
Just one.
And you lost to them at home badly.

I don't know what the frick you are talking about. This is a discussion about football.

I keep track of SoS rankings. Texas had the 40th most difficult schedule in the country at the end of the season. It was dead last among SEC teams.
After Week 13 SoS rankings.

You played one team ranked at the end of last season during the regular season.
According to SECRant logic, it’s better to lose those games so those teams can stay ranked.
Quality loss > win here I guess

If you actually had shown up against Georgia, you might have a point. but you did not.

You beat zero ranked teams as I pointed out. Pollack and others are continually pointing this one out on their podcasts.
In the playoffs the refs gave you the game Vs ASU.
Your program is a joke.

I don't watch other sports. I don't have a remote fricking clue how well you did in any other sport, nor does it have anything to do with the current discussion.
If you want to go cry and argue with other people, feel free to do so. But right now you're just arguing shite other people said as if I did. Piss off with it.

So that's your big accomplishment? Being better than Alabama with their 1st year coach in transition?
You're kind of making my point then.
And who knows if you could have beaten Alabama, you never played teams that tough except for Georgia, and you lost.

They aren't my rankings, they are FEI rankings. I keep track of them because it doesn't save the week by week results, so there is no other snapshot back towards the end of the season.
