This is a weird one to lump us in with and lacking a bunch of research…
#1 — 7 weeks
• 1939 (4): Nov 20; Nov 27; Dec 4; Final (Dec 11).
• 1957 (3): Oct 28; Nov 4; Nov 11.
#2 — 12 weeks
• 1939 (2): Nov 6; Nov 13.
• 1940 (3): Oct 14; Nov 18; Nov 25.
• 1941 (2): Nov 17; Nov 24.
• 1957 (3): Preseason; Sep 23; Oct 21.
• 1975 (2): Nov 24; Dec 1.
#3 — 11 weeks
• 1940 (1): Nov 11.
• 1957 (2): Oct 7; Oct 14.
• 1975 (2): Nov 10; Nov 17.
• 1995 (5): Preseason (Aug 15); Aug 29; Sep 5; Sep 12; Sep 19.
• 2025 (1): Oct 19.
This is still lackluster and a long time ago (this IS the first time we’ve been ranked #3 in 30 years), but to say we’ve never been there before in the AP era (first AP poll was in 1936) is just uneducated.

A&M continues to win where they would have lost in years past. But nobody really knows anything else about them. Even A&M fans refuse to believe the ground isn't going to fall out beneath their feet.
A&M has LSU and Mizzou on the road the next two weeks. Answers are coming soon. Meanwhile, Alabama has been on a tear since the first week loss, and UGA continues to win as well.

GA Tech is going to get obliterated in the playoffs. Every game is tight. Almost all 1 score wins over terrible teams like Wake Forest
Even USF would pants them. Tech will lose by 40+
If they lose a single game (UGA will give them that) they should drop from the rankings. 11-1 isn’t good enough with how they have performed against garbage

I like it. Keep propping up a mid Indiana team that will maybe have 1 ranked opponent on their final schedule. I have Oregon losing 2 more and being out of the top 25 by the end of the regular season.
