Ah, I remember the days back in the late 2000s when I used to think OU was the number #1 program of all time.

Then Saban came along.

NU still has money, fans, institutional support. The right coach can bring them back.

ALL bluebloods have had down periods. ALL.

Those 8 are the blue bloods.

It's like Britain. The Royal family are no longer the ones who rule over the country, but you don't call the Prime Minister a member of the Royal family, and you don't pretend the Royal family isn't the Royal family.

It's unlikely Nebraska is ever at the peak of college football again, but it doesn't change the fact they are a blue blood.

People were saying this same kind of shite about Alabama in the mid 2000's.

Do you know that this isn't relevant in the new NIL and transfer portal rule change? Give it 5 more years and use the date when NIL and transfer portal rule change was set up. That is why you see some middle teams are now in the top 15. Ole Miss and Missouri are two examples of teams that were bad before the NIL and transfer portal rule change.

Why isn't Nebraska in the top 15 in team recruiting ranking? Look at how much money they have spent on players.

#30. Nebraska 5*- 0 4*-3 3*-12 total commitment-15 Average rating-87.42 Average NIL-$37K Total-87.422
What is going on with fans that are saying Nebraska is still spending money to support the football program?
