Florida did not become national champions because BYU was undefeated, 13-0. Florida was 9-1-1; lost the 1st game to Miami and tied LSU the 2nd game.

Georgia Tech won the Coaches Poll, Colorado won the AP.

No one should've been champ that year. BYU's schedule was pathetic.

By Alabama standards of claiming Florida would be 84 champs. And 85 too most likely.

The only Alabama title I don't like, and many other fans feel the same, is the 1941 title. It's the only title that Bama claims that the AP or Coaches did not pick Alabama.
The earlier 4 were before the AP/Coaches poll were formed.
