We look out for our own here. Something Texas wouldn’t understand.

Who do you have as the top 1 loss team? Texas?

I didn’t say you have a vote. I’m just trying to discuss football.

Yes, Texas should be the top ranked one loss IMO.

I hope you’re not saying Texas should be the top one loss team. Right now I don’t think Texas is a top ten team

Really? Most teams would against unranked teams.

They have the best loss - on the road against the #4 team, hostile environment, 3 point loss in a game that went down to the final play and you could argue that Oregon played the better game.

That's just a big factor in how voters distinguish teams with equal records - when, where and how did they lose.

But this is all semantics and none of it really matters. The top teams will all get their chance to play their way into the playoffs:

Bama v. UGA
OSU v. Michigan
Oregon v. Washington
FSU v. Louisville

I explicitly said it.

That is the only ranked team they’ve played too.

Y’all are acting like the lack of anyone giving a damn about SOS didn’t give us last year’s blowout. Also BAMA still gets a shot at UGA. Win and there is no need to worry.

I agree, SOS is not taken into account enough. Michigan should be the lowest ranked undefeated team. They’re essentially telling everyone to make the weakest schedule possible. They should reward teams that play big games OOC.

Not saying that I agree they are, but…

Oregon’s one loss was on the road by 3 to an undefeated Washington team.

Texas lost by 4 at a neutral site to two-loss Oklahoma

Alabama lost by 10 at home vs Texas.

Alabama obviously has wins over ranked Ole Miss, LSU and Tennessee to hang its hat on. Oregons best wins vs Utah and USC don’t look so hot now.

I’ll bet UGA has more top 25 wins at the end of the season than any other team.

You said Alabama would beat us in September too. I guess you really mean it this time.

My crystal ball was in the shop for repairs at that time.

It's much healthier now.

Because they are better than Alabama.

Exactly. It’s been clear the past few seasons that you are better off playing one team a year and cruising the rest of the way. I have no idea why any AD would schedule tough knowing this.

Having mizzou over lsu is stupid. One less loss, but lsu beat them at mizzou.
