What the hell was the RF doing? The ball damn near hit him on the way down and he didn't even try to catch it.
Pretty bad

I watched it in slo mo. the 1B had the ball all the way until the 2B comes flying past him (and past the ball) and bumps his glove arm. He turns and looks “WTF”. This totally throws him off. The RF could have made the catch but back off at the last minute recognizing the 1B had it. It dropped because the 1B and RF were f’d up by the 2B. The 2B coming across never had a bead on it.

almost as pathetic as Arkansas's trophy case

I love how butthurt these pigs are now all of a sudden after toiling in irrelevancy for year after year and still talking shite nonstop. Now their booties are hurt because their big star couldn't handle a routine pop-up and Arkansas'd their only chance of a CWS title

Exactly what I was thinking, he didn't even attempt to catch it. This play was for it all and he wasn't even thinking about catching it. All he had to do was stick out his glove, at least make an effort but instead he was too busy WATCHING the second baseman overrun the ball by twenty feet
