re: Anyone got any funny or humorous stories about Saban

A friend's daughter, as a 18 yr old freshman, scored a job working in the Athletic Dept building. First day, walking down a hall,she crossed paths with Saban. Her "good morning, Coach" was ignored. An hour later, summoned to her supervisor's office, she was told to never talk to him as "he is always concentrating on football & can not be disturbed. " That following summer, when Saban fell, bumped his head & fell into the water at his summer home, he was pulled out by a TAF friend. Same young girl told her dad, when the story got out, " dad, if that had been a student worker with him, he would have drowned. " Not funny, just sad.
