I'm not getting bama's infatuation of using the term "swamp people". There are many swamps in alabama. I happen to live by one in the prestigious metropolis of Mobile.
What makes a swamp so bad? It is a diverse ecosystem. Great fishing, lots of wildlife. I would figure gumps would love swamps since the majority of the fanbase hunts deer.
