The attached Bammer images are EXACTLY why I fear the trophy tour of Wal-Mart. If you don't think their will be some really bad fan pics to come out of that, you're delusional.

Whether in wal mart, dollar general, or the thrift store. We actually had something to display. But when you don't have success, I guess its hard to appreciate.

So, he can't trace his lineage to East Alabama Male College.

So, you will understand that it was painful to learn that all of their sordid history was rewarded so richly when the University of Texas failed to roll back the Unwashed Nation last January in the Rose Bowl. While that was and still is difficult to bear, it was shocking to learn that upon arrival in Tuscaloosa, the “Unavursdi” promptly carted its national championship trophy down to a couple of local Walmart stores for display. [One need browse People Of Walmart only once to understand why Walmart isn’t a suitable venue for such an occasion.] The national news networks immediately picked up on the story, of course, and the (so-called) “University” of Alabama became a national laughing stock – one more time. I thought the LSU fan where I work would have to be hospitalized he laughed so hard. [The Bammers claimed that there was a contractual requirement to do the promotion… and yet they never sought a remedy…. go figure...]

The above highlighted sections are childish.

I also remind you that possession is nine tenths of the law

You serious, Clark?

So I ask you: will Auburn University trade its dignity, its pride, and its reputation for a few dollars?

This stands on its own.

So is Auburn the Harvard of Alabama?

-------------------------------------

Auburn doesn't even know if they can keep their accrediation from year to year, so they aren't exactly the Harvard of anywhere.
Why in the world do you think that you are better than these people shown in the Walmart pictures? They love their team and it meant a lot to them to have their picture made in front of that trophy. Being a fan of a football team means exactly that. You are a fan, and it doesn't have to mean that you attended the University(I did). You may be a fan of the football team, but not so happy about the rest of the University, or maybe you attented another University, but you love Bama football. People are entitled to be a fan of whatever they want, and Auburn fans, please note, you are not better than these people in any shape form or fashion.

Its not my fault that my son's former football teammate who got arrested dealing drugs on school property and graduated from Alternate School got turned down flat by AU and UGa but made it in first try to The Crapstone.

I guess putting "high school football" on your bammer app is pretty much getting an automatic checkmark of approval.

You have a huge amount of data points supporting your theory.

You make a point.

The first paragraph, however, is undoubtedly true since it comes from personal experience through my son's former acquaintances.

The second paragraph, as you point out, is indeed a theory. The only data point I can provide in support of that theory is the fact that I gave you in the first paragraph, however.

Dumbass, redneck, criminal morons attend both AU and UA. That isn't a theory. That is a fact.

A friend of a friend stapled $7 to a test in lieu of actually taking it in one of his classes at Auburn. He made Dean's list.

True story. If it wasn't, they wouldn't allow it on the internet.

Everyone knows the Profs don't start giving favors until they see 20's stapled to the test. $7.00? must have been 40+ years ago if that happened....

I love that your pathetic arse was crying and soliciting tickets on the ITAT board the other day because you can't afford tickets to the championship game. I'm glad you didn't get to go.

Got one, probably cost four times the monthly payments on your trailer but I got it. If we win the trophy I'll get to see it lifted in person and won't have to go to Wal Mart to do so.

If you persist, you should know that you will have to sue us in open court, and that will take many months. I also remind you that possession is nine tenths of the law – and that even if you were to prevail in a lawsuit against the University, I can say with absolute certainty that our trophy will NEVER be displayed in such a fashion – not for a day, not for an hour, not for even one MINUTE.

hey it worked with the NCAA, why not give it a shot

Oooh, how original. I'd be willing to bet that my car is worth more than all the money you have to your name, but that's another story.

If you're even at the game, I expect you'll need binoculars for that.

and won't have to go to Wal Mart to do so

lol Wanna bet? Undoubtedly you know nothing about contractual obligations (though you should look into them since they're so pertinent to your quarterback), but if Auburn wins the trophy, it will be displayed at Wal-Mart. And yes, you will catch hell for it.
