I think about his age, his personality, his ambition, and his family.

He's at that point in life where the next move is critical- where/how he's going to enjoy life AND accomplish his dreams.

I don't see LSU because of the town, the mess, and the politics. Why deal with that when you don't HAVE to?

Oxford is nice, but he's been there done that and is Mississippi REALLY a Kiffin kind of place? And it will always be a harder job producing a NC from there.

FL just seems more like Kiffin. I would think his family (and he) would be a little more excited to be living the FL lifestyle. He really could picture himself there for the next 10 yrs. Recruiting would be easier, and of course he believes in himself, so duplicating (and surpassing) Spurrier and Meyer would be a great draw and challenge.

Honestly, more I think about it, I'll be shocked if the job is offered and he turns it down.

Good thing that you do. His mind seems to always be on something else.

Well that's probably just reason #5 to choose FL

I'd be surprised if he leaves. He's already the greatest Rebels coach in program history, and they will offer him a blank check to stay.

Ole Miss seems like one of the most aligned athletic departments top to bottom in the SEC over the past 4 or 5 years
