Do you think he came to this conclusion because he understands the game of football, or he has seen his father make such a big deal out of it for the last few years? I'm willing to bet the latter. Feels good.

Actually, he is pretty straightforward about it. Ole miss has beaten Alabama the last two years in a row, so he thinks they are the best team we play.

I went to Oxford last year for the game and had a great time despite the loss. The Grove and the square are pretty awesome. I hung out with my Ole Miss friends from residency all night. Got a lot of good-natured ribbing, but Ole Miss fans were pretty cool for the most part.

Decker, you're a good guy. You're way too normal and well-tempered. Where did you come from?

No, he just forms opinions about the world around him and I find some of those opinions amusing. If Alabama football ended tomorrow he wouldn't lose a wink of sleep. Everyone's not a stereotype.

Except you. Your comments fit my stereotype of a butthurt Auburn fan to a T.

Well at least he's prepared to expect losing to Ole Miss every year.

Maybe you should get the kids some books about college football history and all.

I don't understand the put downs about "Sidewalk" fans. Seems like the fans that bitch about such fans are the same ones bragging about having 100,000 fans in their stadiums, which would never happen without the sidewalk fans. Everyone has a right to enjoy college football.
