I really hope nothing happens Saturday. But I'm afraid all of this hype and talk will prompt some idiots to at least try and escalate things over previous years. There is very bad blood in this rivalry, real hatred and it is worse now than ever. If something happens to those trees, you can bet that there will be retaliation against the statues. I don't give a shite about those statues but I don't want to see people going on their campus and destroy property. Anyone that destroys property should be punished to the full extent of the law. The only sad part is alot of bammers condone and view Harvey as a hero. Even if they don't acknowledge it in public that's how alot of them feel. That is pathetic.

Hit one person or police officer with a roll of toilet paper and it will no longer be peaceful.... Just sayin...
I remember after the '07 Iron Bowl, a huge gas station bathroom sized roll of toilet paper flew across the air and nailed my (ex)girlfriend in the head when we were walking by that tree. I hope some AU fan gets the same treatment this Saturday. I will LOLOLOLOL if I see it.

I not only believe it but sadly I hear it alot. I actually heard it from two bammers yesterday. I know that the decent bama fans do not condone this and never would. Just as I would not condone anything that may be done on the bammer campus. We both have some crazy idiot fans, but you know based on sheer numbers bammer has more. The state is probably 70-30 at best 60-40. Bammer has more bandwagon and sidewalk fans and it's not even close. Those are the ones that are the most radical and extreme (AKA: Updyke).

They said "Harvey is a hero!"???
Also, if they did, then they were probably just fricking with you.

OH No!! They were conversing with each other and laughing about what he did. They thought it was ridiculous that he would be sent to prison "just for killing some trees". I was just sitting there listening to their conversation. They did not know that I was an Auburn grad. until one of them asked me about the game Saturday. I then listened to them rant about LSU and how they didn't beat bammer, that bammer had actually beat themselves. They also said: " We don't want to have to play in the SEC championship game, we just want to play in the NC game". LOL. The only thing that people like that regret maybe is the black eye that bammer got from it in the national media. They don't get the fact that he destroyed someone's property.

Sooo, you came to the conclusion that they though he is a "hero"? Good reasoning there.

has nothing to do with what we are talking about.

Where did they proclaim his as "a hero", again?

Does this guy seriously believe bammer fans trying to roll Toomer's isn't going to start major trouble and perhaps a lot of violence?
This is what I find funny. The Aubs like to call Updyke representative of the fan base, but fail to see how violence from their fans over a celebration on public property would reflect poorly on them. You terds really think violence is okay if it's against Bammers having some fun over a football game? Sure, they would be rubbing it in, but that's what rivalry is! Grow a pair and get a life.
