He's slippery. He's always been great at getting into space, but I've seen him run down from behind. He's fast, but I knew he didn't have elite speed.
I guess I just never saw anybody catch him from behind.

Yeah, I've probably seen a few more Ole Miss games than you. This year though, you're right, it seemed like he was gone when he got into space. I remember a few games last year though. I can't imagine he got that much faster this year, he just hit that top gear so quick no one could catch him later.

What does "catching someone from behind" involve?
I hope it doesn't involve that grabby thing Billy Mays use to sell.

That is why he will still probably get drafted. He might not have great top end speed, but he can get going after 1 step. Very rarely do you see runs longer than 5-10 yards in the NFL. Quickness generally trumps speed.

Exactly. I'm thinking SF passes on a RB in the first and gets Dex later on in the draft. Would be a great change of pace from Frank Gore. Little bastard will be three yards up the field by the time you blink.

There's no question that he'll be drafted. The only question is second or third round.

Combine? I expected better from them all.
Houston Nutt won 9 games with a bunch of guys who weren't really that good is what happened.

So, Nutt should win even more now that he is rid of them?
