While looking for other information on the "Official" NCAA site, I cam across this, and thought it interesting.
Yes, it is typically an off season thread, but if I wait there is no way I will remember posting it. (I am old)

This shows the teams that faced the toughest schedule in the country for a given year, using the ending records for their opponents.

Just a snapshot from some of the SEC teams:

1982 Kentucky Ky record-0-10-1 Opponents 63-34-5
1983 Auburn AU record 10-1-0 Opponents 70-31-3 (Which makes their record that much more impressive)
1984 Georgia UGA record 7-4-0 Opponents 60-39-4
1985 Alabama UA Record 8-2-1 Opponents 65-32-5

It goes through 2017. The more recent years shows that Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee had the toughest schedules finishing regularly in the top 10 toughest schedules. (Keep in mind it stops in 2017)

The biggest standout was 2013 when the top teams were:
1. Tennessee
2. Auburn
3. Georgia
4. MState
5. Texas A&M
So the top 5 hardest schedules were by SEC teams.

Interesting to look at if you are interested.

I'm no Auburn fan, but this team got screwed by not winning at least a share of the title.
