I can't say that you have, but in a way the touchdown loss to ULM qualifies as a blowout to a BCS team. It was just as painful I'm sure.

I just noticed that too! I can't remember us just getting blown out by an opponent, but by all means if I am wrong, I'm sure someone will correct me.

youre not wrong. we either drag teams down when we are sucking or play up to their level.

The University of Alabama has a great history, including 1992, but your current players weren't even in kindergarten then and your coach was the DC of the Cleveland Browns, I don't really see how that is relevant.

Tebow wouldn't make it to the 3rd quarter against the 1992 team.
Only cause Meyer would have taken him and the rest of the starters out

I knew a guy back in college who had a major drinking problem. I was headed to an early class one day, and I saw this guy passed out with his right hand on the first step of the dorm. I wondered where all he'd been, and how much he'd drank, but I couldn't help but think that somehow in whatever state he was in the previous night, in his mind he had reached home. In his last few moments of consciousness, he stuck out his hand towards sanctuary, which ULM has become to several LSU fans here.
We've all seen the two LSU guys kissing each other. If you watch their lips, you'll see one say to the other, "We'll always have ULM" just like Bogart and Bergman.

Well just to kick it back to the Bama Holy Years the SECCG will be like the 1972 Orange Bowl

- Are you Bama fans really confident in your team's ability to match up against florida?
- Do you really think you've got the depth to compete with their athletes?
- Do you think your defensive secondary has seen anything close to Herban Meyer's schemes?
I look at the teams in the SEC, especially in the west, and I just don't see any sort of comparison to the type of team that florida is. Not a knock on Bama at all, things just seem to be lining up for Florida right now (as much as the stars are aligning for you guys).

I don't think matching up with their athletes is impossible since Ole Miss did it.
I think Bama can matchup with Florida.
Bama must:
Run the ball well.
Play good run defense.
Bama can't:
Have multiple turnovers or special teams mistakes.
Meyer's schemes haven't been as big as their defense and special teams creating turnovers and easy points. If the get turnovers or blocked kicks, then they're going to beat you.

We know UF is good, but our defense hasnt even show itself yet and we are still holdin people for the most part. We have the greatest defensive schemer in all of football and a VERY strong young smart defense. I personally do believe we can stop them. It depends on how our offense plays as to whether or not we win but I have confidence in our defense. Saban WILL confuse them. And depth is not a problem, we have more depth then people think.
Another thing people dont consider is we have a bye week now. UF hasnt had a bye week in the past 5 or 6 games and they wont get one till after the SEC championship. think about that.

If you've played 11 games... it's shown itself.

I for one can't wait to see what Saban comes up with to go against that UF spread. That alone should have all football fans watching.

USCe has a good defense also...and you know spurrier had them fired up to play us...the only thing right now that can hinder UF is overconfidence...
