All Alabama needs is an Elite QB. Same goes for other SEC teams

and the gap will close once again and we will go on another run. That's the missing ingredient.
It was a down year for the SEC in the QB position. It will have to improve if we want to win the playoff.

I cry when I think of 2012, and every single year after Tebow left.
I can't wait to see a good QB at Florida.
And OSU wins with a 3rd string

Alabama's success over the last 7 years is because there hasn't been many elite QBs in the SEC. Since 2008:
Tebow
Cam
JFF
Stafford
Murray ?
Their issues in their Secondary have been masked due to lack of talent to expose it.

QB play all through the SEC was Div ll type talent last year. With the exception of 2 or 3 QB's. I know the QB position cost the Hogs last year. I will argue it with anyone that the Hogs were a decent SEC QB away from a 10-11 win season this year. Give us a decent SEC QB last year and I say we beat Miss State, BAMA, TAMU, and possibly Mizzou.
Brandon Allen doesn't cause turnovers, there is no quit in him, has a decent arm, but he isn't a SEC caliber QB.
What teams last year do you guys think had a legitimate SEC caliber QB taking the snaps for them??? Please no smart arse comments like they were all SEC caliber cause they were starting for a SEC team. There were lots of QB's starting for SEC teams only because they were the best available at the time. Doesn't mean they were SEC caliber.
Until the SEC can bring back the QB's we are use to seeing, get ready to watch teams like Oregon and Ohio State taking home the hardware at the end of every season.
It blows my mind that the 3rd string QB for Ohio state is better than 80% of all SEC QB's that suited up this year. What has happened to the high school QB talent that use to be plentiful down South????
