I could, but it would present an issue down the road. One may not give bond for a party upon which one seeks to represent.

Semantics.

Yeah, I guess I should just handle the bail portion of it...I'm confident that you could find more than competent representation in B'ham.

You're too kind. Woefully incorrect, though...

I'm gonna jump off of here. 'Til we speak again, the best to you.

He was officially no longer a recruit. He had already signed to play for Bama.

He hadn't signed anything. This happened in December before he was enrolled. I'm not sure if we can get the Fulmer Cup points we are entitled to if the infraction was committed by someone who was not signed or enrolled.

I am patiently awaiting Orson's ruling.....

He signed Dec 16th and was arrested Dec 23/24.

Correct on the not enrolled part though.

None it happened before he enrolled in Alabama. It happened at his hometown in Tennessee. He enrolled in Alabama about a week later. I don't recall them counting a HS recruits arrests on the Fulmer cup so I doubt a juco will either unless it goes on his juco.

This seems like a harsh punishment for a first time DUI.

In college, I had to spend 48 hrs in the Lee Co. jail for my first DUI...hell it was my first traffic stop.
