Facing Mallet will be no small task. That guy has an explosive arm. Bama's secondary has not faced such yet. Key is TOP, grind it out, keep RM on the sidelines.

No doubt Mallett is good. He's never faced a "D" like ours.
The key for us is come out Smoking..No playing around.Smash Mouth from the get go.
I'm sure Saban will have them Ready. They better be or will get embarrsed.
Julio and Deadrick should be healthy. We need all hands ready Mentally and Physically.
We should win By Two TD's but I'll be happy it's by 1Point.

The only knock on Mallett that I saw was he doesn't seem to be too fleet afoot. Anxious to see how he handles a strong pass rush. The bombs he was lofting last night could turn into quick short passes against Bama.

I'm very nervous about this one just because of their offense and how our pass rush defends it. It is gonna be a good game. I won't be able to sit down probably.

In what can only be described as miracle, Alex Tejada kicks a 52 yard FG with .03 left on the clock to give Arkansas a 31 - 30 victory.
As an interesting side note, Rolando McClain sucker punches Mallett after the whistle, draws a flag and proceeds to shove the ref to the ground drawing a stern warning. In the process Petrino, referencing the Jerry Franklin incident the preceding week, is flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct and the penalties offset.

Rolando and Franklin thunderdome after the game to settle the tie. Rolando beats him down unmercifully, but Franklin gets in a sucker punch at the end to knock out McClain. Fortunately, its an SEC crew and Bama gets the favorable call and Arky goes down.

Seriously there's a lesson for Arkansas and frankly all the teams to learn here. This year a point of emphasis is sportsmanship. In past years what Franklin did would not have resulted in an ejection. But, it ain't then. It's now. It's my opinion that in an effort to curb excessive displays the NCAA has gone overboard. Every player out on the field better adjust or he's going to cost his team dearly.

Our offense is pretty good thus far but I would like to see more out of the running game.....As good as our offense might be..our defense is gapping hole
