Here is the video footage I shot yesterday with my phone while riding through a neighborhood close my buddies house. We went to help him clean and box up some stuff and then rode down a street out in the Alberta City area off of University Blvd.

The cars tossed around is just crazy. To think that it all happened in less than a minute is incredible.
That video has great quality. What kind of phone do you have?

The background music makes it even more surreal, if that's possible. Feel for so many folks.

I would like to but I'm not sure just yet. I'll have to stay until 5:00 today at work and do our end of month reports and all, but I think myself, my gf, and some friends are going to try and go out tomorrow to see if we can lend a hand again.

No problem. It's so sad and amazing at the same time to see the destruction that it left. In person it really makes you feel more thankful that you weren't in the path. I am totally heartbroken for these people. Pictures and videos just really do not allow you to see the total severity of it. It's horrible.

Chilling this morning driving to work on the interstate and seeing the National Guard convoys with the Red Cross sign on the side. One group was headed towards Fultondale and another on 59-20 to Pratt City.

I'll do what I can buddy. I want to get over that way anyways because I used to work at that Chevron station when I was in college and want to see what all is left structurally.

Do they have McFarland Blvd cleared enough to drive on yet? I kind of want to drive down that way and see the damage there. I saw the damage around the outside of Tuscaloosa. Sometimes seeing it in person puts more aspect into it.

I don't know about today but yesterday that had it blocked off at the university blvd ramp and down past the military memorial around midtown. they let us through at the ramp but then we had to deal with the national guard down around milos, and full moon. they let us through there though because we had our friend that lived there with us.

Thank you, not sure youll be able to get all that close. My house was on what esentially is 14th street. Second house on the north side of the street. Between 6th ave and McFarland. Had a front porch, that was closed in with white lattice. Doubtful its still there though.
