honestly if they have a bathroom on the bottom floor id prob take my mattress down and chill till shite went down in which case i go to the bathroom and use my mattress for cover.

Storm went through Kennesaw but didn't do too much damage. It was a damn light show though. Heard from my friend in T-town and her house is gone

Thank you for checking on me earlier! Sorry I didn't respond, it's been crazy and the cell coverage is absolute crap.
And I am in tears - did y'all see the story about the 7 week old baby in Pleasant Grove?
His family's house was destroyed. They found him im the yard alive, but his mother was killed and they can't find his dad.

there are 2 major circulations just south of Athens near Madison and one heading towards Eatonton.

i heard the baby was missing bc the rescue workers gave it to a person that was ok and told her to watch it while they tried to save the mom.

idk. I got a UGA alert saying there was a warning for clarke county, and they made it known that a circulation was found within the county. But I haven't seen anything on tv yet about it.

the only time a tornado ever got close when i was home alone i did that. thankfully the tornado didn't actually touch down but i hunkered down in the tub with a mattress over me.

We got it right after I checked on you... I've been insanely busy all day.
I have to go and help tomorrow, and I'm afraid I'm going to hear a lot of stories like that poor baby and his parents. Still haven't heard from some of my friends who were texting during the storm, but I am assuming it's just bad phone lines. I was telling them earlier, I was in tears when it was happening and then saw the pictures, and hadn't heard from people.
I am so glad you are safe!

Sh*ts's getting a little crazy over here on Morton Avenue in Five Points/Athens too.
Damn UGA sent out a phone alert that woke me up and scared the sh*t out of me, now I'm glad they did.
