Wellllll... Since it's the law - from earlier in the thread:

He pled guilty to it. If the Gumpbagger does this and gets some probation and banned from NOLA to stay off the list I'm good with that.

wait is it being suggested that mett didn't get crusfied in the court of public opinion after his arrest...similar to how the teabagger is being treated now.

Surley bama fans (and all fans) who participated in the mett bashing shouldn't be here telling folks to go light on the teabagger (which is still in my eyes is more disgusting and perverted, but thats because i'ma guy and don't wnat my face having your balls on them)

That is an indictment of our society then. An act like this should never be overlooked.

Why is the assumption being made that those that think the charges may be a little overboard are overlooking it? I actually think the guy should do a little jail time and be subject to a slam dunk civil judgement against him. How is that considered "overlooking" the act?

Designating this crime for legal purposes on the same level as pedophilia or rape is what many are objecting to. Totally ruining the guy's ability to even see or raise his kids over this and putting him in the same class as a pedophile is like treating someone who gets a DUI the same as somehow who gets in a car stumbling druck and high on crack and mows down a group of people on the sidewalk.

He won't do any time over this.

I really don't see what all the hooplah is about. some dude whipped his twig and berries out and rubbed it on another dudes face. That equals sexual assault and falls under the sex crimes heading. There are different levels of sex crimes but, I think, that all of them are put on to a sex offender list with differing levels of severity depending on the crime found guilty of.
It isn't equal to rape or molestation, but imo it is equal to whipping it out and rubbing it on a woman, assault with your junk, period end of story.
The whole thing comes down to this, some guy who never got over his fraternity boy stage in life decided to humiliate, degrade and assault an unconscious man in front of a crowd that was egging him on. Sounds like a Jodie Foster movie minus penetration. Let the legal system do what they want to him.

It's not hard to do considering the public restaurant was filled with Bama fans clapping, laughing and cheering him on.

It's been awhile since I watched that video, but I think I remember some pressing and thrusting.

Is that video still around the web?

If an LSU fan teabagged a passed out Bama fan ON VIDEO, you bet your arse it would be just as big of a deal so please......JUST STOP!

I would be pissed and tempted to punch him in the face if I ever saw him in person. I would try to distance myself from him rather than knighting for him.
