I would take Mississippi State's offense over Bama's. The only thing I actually like about Bama's is when they're in the pistol formation. I do like the 3-4 defense a lot more than the 4-3, though.

Did you watch Cam or Dyer run it between the tackles last year? Or Ben Tate in 09. you should really watch more football.

Which do you enjoy to watch or would want your school to win with?
I've seen both styles (and more) during my time as an Auburn fan.
I *so* much prefer the fun of Auburn's present offense over the pounding steady drone of what Bama runs.
But, again, if both are equally effective, I don't care.

Ben Tate up the middle and Michael Dyer/Mario Fannin up the middle were staples of the offense going into each of the last two seasons. It's designed to stretch the teams out, wear them out, and limit substitutions, but in the end if you get past all the gimmicks and motions, most of the plays are simply running behind the offensive line.

The championship game between Oregon & Auburn was sort of meh because of both offenses. Even though they didn't put up many points.
Both teams were playing on a Slip-and-Slide in that game.

Bama. I love saban style; smash mouth, play action, etc..

That game would have been so much better if the turf was halfway decent. Rewatched it last night and both teams seemed to have a player slip on every single play.

It also recruits better talent
Really? Based on what? You do realize Bama just had three offensive players taken in the first round of the NFL draft, right? That means nearly 10% of the 1st round came from Bama's O.
Both recruit well. "better" is subjective & is a matter of opinion.

I enjoy the "we will line it up and ram it down your throat if we need to" offense.
Nothing says running it down your throat like 284+ yards a game and 41 TDs in the SEC.

Yea That's true, I just like the athletes we are recruiting more than what we were recruiting in a "pro style" offense.

What's great about Alabama is you think you are playing a good game, and next thing you know, you are down 31-6.
7-0 1st quarter, 14-6 half, 21-6 3rd quarter, 31-6 final.
What's great about Auburn's offense is you can be on the road playing in your primary rival's home stadium and be down 24-0 to that primary rival early in the 2nd quarter.
And still win the game 28-27.

Didn't we have, like, 5 straight games of 300+ yards rushing last season? If that's not running it down someone's throat, I don't know what is. That 440 yards against LSU should also tell you something..

Offenses like Auburn and Oregon are trendy thanks to the spread percolating throughout high school football. The problem with them, IMO, is that the offense hinges on one man. In Auburn's case, CGM is the man that makes it works and what happens when he leaves? Same with Oregon and Chip Kelly. It doesn't come down to just scheme but also timing of play-calling which both seem to have a knack for. IMO Alabama knows what they are on offense and recruits accordingly.

You're an idiot.
Auburn averaged more than 100 yds per game in conference play than anyone else in the SEC. Also averaged more than a yd per carry.

Yep. The BCS shouldn't allow another Championship Game there until they agree to fire the groundskeeper of UofP Stadium and hire somebody competent.
It was freakin' ridiculous.

You mean 21,3,3,0 and losing. Bitches.
