It keeps getting funnier every thread I read about this.

The fact national media is saying it now as opposed to just Alabama fans would have me scared too baw.

The media sure does say a lot of things to sell the current product.
And they did the same thing last year calling LSU the best team ever if they won it all and so on
And Clemson the year before for beating the teams best team ever 2018 Bama which made Clemson 2018 the best team ever.
See how it works.

I don't know many people willing to buy a subscription to PFF based on Mac Jones setting the record for highest QB rating in their history.

Mac Jones is really accurate. He's averaging a solid 3 touchdowns a game. He's having a really swell season.
If Bama played 22 games this year, he would finally catch burrow's total touchdown total. I'd tabulate the rushing yards but I don't think Mac has any of those. Passing yards he'd need about 16-17 games which is still really impressive.
Playoffs he's need about another 700 total yards responsible for and 10 touchdowns against Ohio St to get there. But who's counting.

Cool.
Tell me, friend, why does Mac have the highest QB rating in history then?
Seems like Joe would hold that honor.

Do they put points on the scoreboard for a rating?
I think both offenses are equally as good. The difference is Bama's offense can be a run first offense when it wants to be and LSU's could not.

Alabama has averaged 48.2 points a game this season. LSU averaged 47.2 last year. They are about as equal as humanly possible.

This is about Mac Jones not the total offense.
Like I said, Mac Jones has had a heck of a season and both offenses were great. But stop comparing the 2 quarterbacks. It just makes you look ridiculous.

A 5 point win vs a 29-0 shutout.
That 5 point win was against a Tua playing on one leg. A healthy Tua and LSU's shining moment in the sun would not have happened. LSU has Tennessee to thank for their miracle season.

Joe was too busy telling CEH not to score TDs or he'd quit the team.

So you're admitting that last year being called the GOAT season is just marketing? Glad you now realize what we knew all along!

I didn't compare them. Pro Football Focus did.
Their data states Mac has had the better season. Not mine.

LSU sold its soul for a season just to get erased.
Very auburn of them.
