Georgia will open as 1-point favorite vs. Alabama says @LVSuperBook, ending Bama’s record streak of 72 consecutive games as favorite
Wonder how that last game as the dog turned out.

I wonder if they are still an underdog by game time?

ctually, it is. Bama was a 2.5 point favorite in the 2011 BCS NC game.

I believe LSU opened as a 1 point favorite iniitally and the line moved 2-3 points in Bama's direction as the betting came in, so by kickoff Alabama was indeed the favorite.

There was a month between the matchup being known and kickoff so lots of time for the line to move.

So bet the farm on Bama, basically?

I'd wait on PEEJ's pick before I'd start betting.

I think Bama matches up well with UGA. Henry is going to have a big day.

I like it the other way around actually. The reason we lost to Bama in the dome was Eddie Lacy and a play action pass from McCarron to Cooper in the 4th. Alabama is lacking the second part of that equation right now, and we are much better up the middle. I think we're in for a dogfight.

I think everybody has forgotten about a healthy Malcolm Mitchell. He is a game changer.

We match up PERFECTLY against Georgia.

Your shitty secondary against an efficient and young QB, whom Saban has not had any experience against? Yeah, that's a perfect matchup. For Georgia.
