Non-gumps may not like it, but it's the truth. For example, Vegas is only interested in money and therefore will adjust the odds without emotion. That's why Bama is favored over LSU.

Bama could very well be the #1 team in the country. Time will tell.

Bama finishes 4 straight regular seasons and 6 out of 7 with one loss or less. They've been nothing but consistent to finish the season since Saban got it started. Somehow it's totally ridiculous to think it'll happen again in a temporary ranking that would change anyways if it doesn't.

Eleven losses the last seven years, coming into 2015.

Has anyone else won more consistently?

This is the problem. Considering past success in trying to rank this year. That's irrelevant. Alabama has not consistently won as much as the undefeated teams this year.

Well they tried not to but then it kept happening year after year after year and they don't want to look stupid.

Turns out, Saban and Bama is a very safe bet to have 11 or 12 wins by the end of the season, doesn't matter the year

But what about those teams that are undefeated when Bama has losses? I think voters have the past in the back of their mind when voting. Every year the slate should be wiped clean. I know voters can't do that though.

You have to look at who the undefeated teams have played so for .

I have no problem with the ranking. If they win out, they deserve it. It will all wash out in the end.
