Maybe I should’ve been more specific. When the players, coaches, etc decide to bring politics into the sport, that’s what the sport becomes.

Perhaps it annoys or inconveniences you, but it doesn’t change the fact that sports are no longer just sports. They’re a political outlet as well.

Probably bc they aren't encouraged by the media, academia, etc. to take it as a personal attack and the cases don't receive as much attention nationally.
