BAMA fans will admit to that when LSU fans admit that they wouldn't love, and brag baseball if they sucked at it.

Well isn't that what everything is basically...an opinion?? You see, I'm the total opposite...I don't care if Bama won 500 baseball games in a row..I would still think the game is boring and not a very good spectator sport....but don't bash me...it's an opinion.

About what I expected.

The Saints, the Pelicans, jazz music, Cajun food, NOLA, the gulf, LSU, mardi gras...

That's an impossibility because i don't know for sure that would be the case. What we're talking about is reality, not a hypothetical "what if" situation.

Again, it's about the assertion that NOBODY cares about college baseball. Not that you as an individual don't care about college baseball.

it goes a lot deeper than that. it's the passion for life of the people of Louisiana that is unmatched at least in the south.

you really just wouldn't understand.

No, I said

Alabama has nothing in comparison to mardi gras, no professional sports, no distinct food or music associated with your city/state by Americans.

And you damn sure have nothing in comparison to Bourbon St. Funny how many people that bash NOLA and LA have probably had the time of their life in NOLA supporting the state of Louisiana. We really appreciate yalls business and $$$

Those guys who say that are assholes. There isn't much more to say about it. What also goes on in threads like this those few posters' opinions are generalized to the whole fan base and we are suddenly all bandwagon fans who don't actually care about the University.

What's easy to understand is that their state can't even support 1 professional sport and LA supports 2.

Bourbon blows donkey balls. It smells like shite and everything is overpriced. Only people who rarely visit actually enjoy that place. If that is all you've seen, then you are missing out on so much that the city has to offer.

FTR Mardi Gras began before Alabama or Louisiana were even a thing and Mobile was part of Louisiana when it started in the USA.

I know Mardi Gras began in Alabama. (in the US) Congrats on that.

And you can hate Bourbon all you want. But the facts are facts. People come from all over to come to NOLA.

Why would they go to Alabama? It's not like it's a bad state. But there is absolutely nothing about Alabama that stands out.

you and i can definitely agree on this but Bourbon Street's international notoriety as a great place to have a good time is definitely something to be proud of.
