I don't assume anything about someone based off a random post. Our president routinely put outs grammatically incorrect tweets all the time but I find it hilarious people still try to be Grammar Nazis on a message board because they are triggered by a post...to each their own I guess.

As a photographer though, COLOR CHANGING LEDS SUCKS DONKEY BALLS. Even the advertising ribbon stripe between the bowl and the first upper deck at BDS would cause serious color changes when taking photos. And the timing and saturation was just unpredictable. It is really is disheartening to get a great shot and have everything in the frame tinted blue. And not, it is NOT that easy to color correct hundreds of shots in post production.
Let me give a real world example. One of the HS basketball teams I shoot often has a gym with high bay HID/vapor lights. These literally cycle through color changes with the line voltage frequency - that is 60 times a second. The human eye normally never notices this, but my camera does... I might shoot a burst sequence that is tinted pink-white-tinted green-tinted pink-tinted green-white-tinted pink. This incredibly hard to correct in post processing especially if you shoot straight JPG due to volume. I had the thought I would try to shoot RAW for one Alabama game. I ended up getting a fraction of the photos I normally got with a 5x post game processing time. That's not really a good option for most photographers.
The stadium LEDs are even worse than HIDs. They don't cycle through color changes as bad, but they do cycle off and on rapidly - again, so fast that the eye can't notice it but the camera can. Furthermore, there are tons of different LED sources inside the stadium - the ribbon advertising lights have been the worst. Up until now.
Anyway... good for fans maybe, hopefully with a better stadium experience. But it will definitely be much much worse for the TV and camera crews.

I agree--too much. Might be cool for the players, but hey--who knows? It might mess up their game. I know plenty of people who get vision-related migraines. The loudness of the stadiums and drunk sidewalk fans are enough. Well, maybe not their stadium--referring to Saban's plea to fans to come to the games. With AL being a winner for so long with no "holy shite" moments," it must be boring. Maybe that lost to Clemson will boost ticket sales.
