Great call to go for it on 4th. Our o line is better than their tired D line. Way to take the game out of Arkansas' hands and physically take the victory.
Bama clearly has secondary issues, but we don't play a great passing QB the rest of the season.
The marginally good QB's like Garcia, Newton and Brantley are going to be throwing full throttle though to try.

The thing Arky did with their passing game that killed us was underneath routes. The first guy through any area drew the DBs.. the next guy through was wide open.

Absolutely. Saban normally doesn't have balls, but that call was a very ballsy call and it had to be called.

Agreed. I don't have anything bad to say about Arky. I can't even troll right now. That team was in freakin' beastmode for 3 1/2 quarters. If it wasn't for our defense finally growing up and our offense stepping up, this game would have been UGLY.

All rational 'Bama fans knew this game would be the first test for our young secondary. They failed, pretty much. Especially Dre.

Me too. Arkansas is really good. REALLY good. Tough game for their fans because they absolutely had us beat.
Arkie may not lose another game this year...Mallett just made a lackadaisical throw at the end instead of gunning it 30 yards out of bounds.
Thoroughly glad we won, but the Pigs showed us we have things that we need to correct. Like learning the proper coverage reads.

UofA showed what it takes to be a championship team. You cain't beat bama for 3qts and win. They are Big Time,hats off and one day we may be in the same class.One day.
