Why would you want a QB who didn't feel they could come in and make those kind of plays to change the outcome of the game?
Bama had a great game and deserves a shitton of credit (not that you tire of reminding us of this). But that doesn't mean Mett is an idiot for believing in his talent and abilities.

Come on man.As good as Bama played that night LSU was that bad.I won't go as far to say the outcome would have been different but I believe Mett would have crossed midfield.

He should think that, but months later I'd hope he has discovered that it really wouldn't have happened that way. There is a line between being confident and knowing you would've been eaten alive. Your O-Line didn't really have a good game either.
