Dude, our roster (LSU) was 18 million. Bama has the highest blue chip ratio in the country, right now, as we speak. The had the #1 class last year and the #4 so far this year. These bammers cannot face the fact that they have the players but are stuck with that sissy coach and staff who have produced an undisciplined team.

I linked it in another thread, but Bama was 12th in the nation for NIL money, at the start of last season. LSU was 7th.
Alabama controlled the bag man model of recruiting, but is now being outbid by deeper pockets now that it’s legal, Saban ran from it because he knew this would happen.

They will eventually cap it. The NFL wouldn't survive without a cap.
It is a surprise that that is all Bama has. They can compete but they won't make Bama fans happy not living after Saban.

Mississippi has 8 billionaires? Wow. Never would have guessed that.
They haven’t formally switched from Confederate to fiat dollars yet. So there’s the conversion.

No wonder Little Nicky quit.

He isn’t wrong. $20 million isn’t enough for anyone to go toe to toe with the biggest spenders. Ohio State, Michigan, Oregon, Texas, Texas A&M, and now Texas Tech are all spending way more than $20 million. Some of them are spending double that.
All together, schools are spending well over $2 billion this season on football NIL. That is more than the total GDP of 16 different states. College football NIL is bigger than Arkansas, Nebraska, Mississippi, New Mexico, Idaho, New Hampshire, Hawaii, West Virginia, Delaware, Maine, Rhode Island, both Dakotas, Alaska, Wyoming or Vermont.

You also can't make Billionaires appear as a school's fans. Schools are going to land where they are in the NIL pools. It's like UAB complaining they don't have as many fans as Bama. There isn't much that can be done about it.
Schools with bigger donors have always had an advantage. The NIL just took tradition about out as a factor for recruits.
