A.I. will (& should) replace the Umpire behind the plate. Certain professional teams are already testing it. Far more consistent strike zone & limited/no errors.

It will change everything. Most people do not comprehend what is about to happen.

AI has the potential to change many aspects. Here are some ways that AI could impact college football:

• Training and conditioning: AI can help coaches and trainers analyze player performance data to create more personalized training and conditioning programs that maximize each player's potential.

• Game strategy: AI algorithms can be used to analyze opponent performance data to identify their strengths and weaknesses, which can then be used to develop game strategies that give a team a better chance of winning.

• Injury prevention: AI can be used to analyze player movements and detect patterns that may lead to injury, allowing coaches and trainers to take proactive steps to prevent injuries.

• Player scouting and recruitment: AI can help coaches and recruiters identify talented players who may have been overlooked in the past by analyzing performance data from high school and other leagues.

• Fan engagement: AI-powered tools can be used to personalize fan experiences by recommending content based on their interests, predicting game outcomes, and creating interactive experiences.

However, AI is not a silver bullet, and it cannot replace the human element of coaching and playing the game. There will always be a need for human intuition, creativity, and leadership in college football.

We've all watched the movies and know what's coming. It's just a matter of time.
