Does the OP's numbers for pass attempts include passing plays which ended up being sacks or QB runs for gains when receivers were covered...plays which end up in the stats as rushing attempts?

Yes it does. It was counted in rush attempts. A sack counts as a rush for a QB.

Damn, less than 2 passes attempted per game in the 4th. I just looked it up and 6 of the 17 were against LSU in the 11-5 game. So That would mean we averaged just 1 pass per game in the 4th sans 11-5..
