Never saw it but to this day some of the thickest accents I've ever heard comes from that area

That's like saying all of Texas is flat.

It's called ignorance.

Sounds like me trying to communicate with my in-laws. Wife's mother and fathers first language is Cajun French. Her brothers don't speak it but they have heavy heavy accents. My wife has to translate.

Nothing like seeing an old white man speak in a manner that is barely understandable

I'll gladly take the city with fewer "tejanos", thank you. I like my American cities to be filled with people who don't weigh 400 pounds and can actually speak English

We are short people. I'm the fattest tejano I know and I barely tip twofiddy.

So I'm calling bullshite on that.

And NOLA is a better city in part because of the Hispanics who moved there after Katrina.

And English is overrated if you can make a good taco.

Yea because playing sports for a year and a half then going back to college is super far fetched right? Everybody is a little loser douche like you that hasn't done anything unique with their life and spends their days alone in their dorm room talking shite on the SEC rant

Parts of Louisiana do smell especially the french quarter. I don't know how you folks just walk around the city and not notice it. Also, Louisiana does have some of the worse roads I have ever seen. The Landmass has way better roads and highways.

How exactly am I the troll? For pointing out that A&M sucks this year and their program more than likely will never be successful under Sumlin? Again, real far fetched claims I'm making there

Louisiana's infrastructure is fricked, there's no doubt about that.

I did a research paper on it in college. If I remember correctly, something like 80% of LA's bridges graded out at D+ or worse at the time.

The quarter is 2/3 of a square mile

No doubt.

It's also known to be pretty politically corrupt. I never see guys bring that up in these city comparison debates.

It's because the people bashing the city are ignorant. They just regurgitate the same nonsense they read in another thread.

Just terrible road construction. Driving back from Oxford on I-20 there were numerous areas of 2-3 inches of water just sitting pooled up in the roadway. Saw several accidents
