4th largest.
1. Arizona State
2. Central Florida
3. Ohio State
4. Texas A&M
5. Burnt Orange Butt-Pirates
6. Minnesota
7. Florida International
8. Florida
9. Michigan State
10. Pedophile U
Stadium Size:
1. MeatChicken
2. Pedophile U
3. Tenn
4. Ohio State
5. Bama
6. Burnt Orange Butt-Pirates
7. UCLA (Rose Bowl)
8. USC(LA Colusium)
9. Georgia
10. LSU
I don't understand why people aren't bitching about Alabama, Tennessee, and most of all MEATCHICKEN (not in the top 20).

Add Georgia and LSU to the list of stadiums that are "too big" for the school size.
Enrollment (capacity)
1. MeatChicken -- 43,500 (109,901) 40%
2. Pedophile U -- 44,800 (106,572) 42%
3. Tenn -- 27,500 (102,455) 26% (Good Lord)
4. Ohio State -- 56,000 (102,329) 55%
5. Bama -- 33,600 (101,821) 33%
6. Burnt Orange Butt-Pirates -- 52,000 (100,119) 52%
7. UCLA (Rose Bowl) -- 40,000 (94,392) 42%
8. USC(LA Colusium) -- 38,000 (93,607) 41%
9. Georgia -- 34,500 (92,746) 37%
10. LSU -- 29,500 (92,542) 32%
A&M -- 53,300 (82,500) %65
after expansion (102,500) 52%
So, what's the problem here?

Tell me again why I give a sh!t what aTm is doing? They're a team in the west that we rarely play, and in a state we don't recruit a ton. If we were in the western division......maybe.

Given the population of the two States and the enrollment of Tenn and A&M, I think this expansion is more a function of "it's about fricking time" than it is an attempt to one-up the real UT, much less the fake one in Austin. Being part of the SEC ALONE increases the need for capacity.

Why do people care if the 5th largest school in the country has a large stadium?

Because all three are all-time Top Ten programs and have had large stadiums for some time. Especially Michigan and Tennessee. Alabama is newer to the 100,000+, having used two different stadiums for home games prior to expansions of BDS.

That percentage will continue to rise. Alabama's has an ultimate of goal 38-40,000 by 2020. That may sound bold, but Alabama was 21,000 in 2001.
