I doubt it is the entire student body. They have like 70k students at the school now. I've been to several games there when we played them and even been to the yell practice. Saw a mix of students, families, and old folks. We walked over there from the bars a cross the street from the campus.
I know everyone is giving them hell about what the male cheerleader said, but that was one guy out of like 70k students. All of us have idiots at our schools.

I doubt many students actually vote. Probably a popularity contest among certain clubs. Kind of like when the girl band nerd wins homecoming or prom. You know the whole school didn't vote for her, but the band nerd voting block was large enough to get her a win.
