Sidewalk - my honest assessment of LSU. Your hitting will keep you in any game, but the fielding and defense needs some serious work. It's weird to see LSU making so many errors after PM.
It was a massively entertaining series, and every game was close.

I completely agree with you, the fielding is absolute arse right now.
Worst fielding LSU team I've ever watched, I don't remember the exact number but they have to be nearing 30 errors on the season already.
There have been years where they didn't commit but like 10 in an entire season.
Even the great play by Morgan yesterday came on an overthrow from third.

Seriously, every team has warts this year. I'd probably put Tennessee as the best team in the SEC so far, and I am loathe to do so because ... Serraneaux.

More. 35 errors so far, and it's statistically the worst defense since we tracked defensive stats in terms of fielding % in 1989, and it's really not close at the moment. Skip's worst defensive team were in 2001 and 1993 at .956. This years ours is .951. The next worst in the SEC is Ole Miss at .963

If I'm an Aggie, I'd be very encouraged by the way your bullpen looked this weekend considering LSU has some pretty good hitting.
