If I was commish, I'd kick them out tomorrow. On their arse.

I don't want their beta bullshite here.

ETA: I've come to understand why Texas threw them out of the Big 12. Hint: It really wasn't because of money.

The national stage attention alone is worth the schedule.

exactly, frick an easy schedule.

give me Bama Auburn and Georgia all day over Kansas State and Baylor.

it puts you on the map playing in these massive games.

it's what college football is all about.

wasnt A&M trying to get in the SEC for a while even before 2012 but they couldn't get the logistics right?

A&M was working to join the SEC in 1994. It was always the obvious fit. There were political and financing moves made by the state government to bring A&M into line with Texas, Texas Tech, and Baylor to merge with the Big 8.

A&M only had those three long term rivals in the Big 12. With Arkansas and LSU, we have almost as many teams we have a lot of history with over here anyway. We simply weren't even in the Big 12 for very long (16 years only) for there to be any kind of real regret.

I mean you might think Missouri, our conference mate who came along, would be another team we had history with. But when we joined the SEC we had only ever played them 12 times. In only another 6,7,8 years or so we will have played Missouri less all-time than each of our new divisional opponents, and assuming scheduling stays the same, we'll get up there with South Carolina as well. A&M had no history, and little in common with any of the Big 12 north programs.

Biggest Pro is no matter how much the fans of the schools in this conference May dislike another fan base, the schools themselves seem like they try to do what's best for the whole and not just one or two schools.

F*cking Nailed it! TU got what they deserved. They bent over the conference for personal gain and damn near crumbled it. Look I hate Bama with a passion....but come playoffs you support the SEC team. That's why we're are the only conference who chants the conference name after bowl wins/ playoff wins because We. Are. The. Best.

Your gay, gaping a-hole being thrown out of the conference; where it belongs.

Did I stutter?
