No 2nd half meltdown?

Looks pretty unlikely considering the way the A&M Defense is playing.

Possibly 3 five star RBs next year. C-Mike, incoming freshman Trey Williams if he stays committed, and OU transfer Brandon Williams that many expect to get an NCAA waiver to not have to sit a year. And that will be behind a good and experienced OL.

I'm just curious, but why does the OP refuse to give NW credit for their TD?

This is the first time I have heard Sumlin speak. Seems like a cool dude. Good hire Ags.

He was pretty candid and confident.

Has a million dollar smile.

My bad. Had a Malena TD brain fart. F'd it up after his TD. Apologies to all.

I am not completely sold on the hire but I think if he wins a little bit he could really make a ton of noise recruiting. He's a very impressive speaker and leader

Lou Groza award winner, Randy Bullock makes it 30-7 Aggies with a 47 yard field goal at 5:59 in the third.

Has he hired a defensive coordinator?

Despite playing D in college, Sumlin is an offensive guy. I am supremely confident our offense, even with a new QB, will be somewhere between serviceable and good against SEC defenses in year 1.

But we don't know who our DCo is yet. A good DCo hire and I'm happy. Even though we still won't have the bodies to make noise in year 1 of SEC conference play. The way to beat us will be to wear us out either by the up tempo (a la Arkansas) or by beating us up (a la LSU)

Expecting an announcement on Jan 3rd or very soon after. Many believe Narduzzi of Mich St is a likely candidate but that's speculation. After our horrible handling of the Sherman firing our AD has been very tight lipped on everything

Thanks for the info. That is going to be supremely important for him and your Aggies going forward.

I know A&M has more of a defensive reputation. I think you guys can get the best in-state defensive recruits once someone comes in and establishes that commitment to that side of the ball.
