Everyone was so nice before the game. Many fans approached us and welcomed us and asked if we needed anything.
After we won, our group remained in the stands because we were a little cautious of the reaction. When we began to leave Alabama fans continued to stop us and congratulate us and good naturedly (is that a word?) said they hoped the outcome would be different when they come to College Station next year.

At a food stop in Meridian, MS, about 10 Alabama fans were just as friendly.

In all fairness, I was also at the Auburn game and those fans were the same way.

The Rant does not reflect the real world. Florida fans and LSU fans were just as nice in College Station. I did not go the Mississippi games but I am assuming they are the same way. We're already familiar with Arkansas fans and for the most part, they are OK too.

We are so happy to be in the SEC. I'm sure there will be "difficulties" in the future but for now we are just enjoying the atmosphere.

I'm even starting to like pork BBQ : )

I did not go, but I've heard about 5 or 6 first hand reports from people I know personally who did go, and all of them gushed about how great it was.
